Medical-grade laser

Specialist PMU laser removal in Royal Leamington Spa, and the new Laser Brow Reset: lift, restore and redesign, always with a patch test first.

Brow pigment that has turned an unexpected colour, or a shape that was never quite yours, can be lifted gently with the right medical laser in experienced hands. Every treatment is tailored to your skin and to where you would like to end up, so removal here is planned with whatever comes next already in mind.

The treatments

Two treatments, each tailored to your skin and your goal.

Every laser treatment begins with a patch test, and the settings of our medical laser are adjusted to your skin tone and type, so it is safe and effective for every skin.

Laser Brow Toning

For brows you love the shape of, but not the colour they have become.

Over the years, brow pigment can drift towards ashy, grey or blue tones as it settles in the skin. Toning targets those cooler, darker tones and leaves an instantly softer look, often in one or two sessions, and it is especially good at fading very old work. Once the skin has rested for 12 to 16 weeks, new pigment can be added if you would like a refresh.

Thirty minutes per session. £85.

Laser Maximum Removal

For a shape or colour you would rather not keep, or simply your own brows back.

Whether it is work from elsewhere that never suited you or simply time for a fresh start, the laser breaks the pigment down gradually and your body clears it naturally between sessions, which are spaced six to eight weeks apart. Full removal takes anywhere from one to six sessions depending on the pigment, the technique and how many times it was applied, and once the skin is clear, Zara can redesign your brows from scratch if you would like.

Thirty minutes per session. £85 for one, £240 for three or £450 for six.

Who comes to us

Most removals begin with a brow that stopped looking like you.

Whatever brought you here, we will tell you honestly what the laser can achieve before you begin.

  • When the colour has turned.

Brows that have drifted ashy, grey or blue as the pigment has aged, softened back to something warmer.

  • When the shape was never yours.

Work that was too heavy, too high or simply not you, lifted gradually so your natural brow can return.

  • Before starting again.

Clearing all pigment so new brows can be drawn on a clean canvas, 12 to 16 weeks after your final laser session.

  • After work elsewhere.

We see a great deal of correction work, and we will always tell you plainly whether it can be corrected or needs to come out first.

New · Laser Brow Reset

A fresh start for brows that no longer feel like you.

If your brows have become dense, ashy or discoloured after previous permanent makeup, the Brow Reset is a personalised journey towards a softer, refreshed look. We gradually lighten your existing pigment with laser, review your progress at every stage and, once your skin and brows are ready, design a new set tailored to you.

Lift, restore, redesign: the whole journey is planned from your first consultation, so you always know what comes next and how long it is likely to take.

Your Brow Reset journey

Lift, restore, redesign.

Laser removal on its own follows the first three steps. The Brow Reset carries on to a new set of brows, designed for you.

Consult

Your first visit

We assess your brows, your skin and your previous treatment, carry out a patch test, talk through what you would like to achieve and create a plan that is personal to you.

An honest plan, before anything begins.

Lift

Around six weeks apart

Laser sessions are usually spaced around six weeks apart, depending on how you heal. Between sessions your body gradually clears the broken-down pigment on its own, and we review your progress at every stage.

A visible fade with every session.

Heal

12 to 16 weeks after your final session

Once the pigment has lifted enough, we allow around fourteen weeks after your final laser session for the skin to fully settle, before reassessing it for new brows.

Calm, settled skin and a clean canvas.

Redesign

Two appointments, four weeks apart

When your skin is ready, Zara designs your new brows across two appointments, usually four weeks apart, choosing the technique to suit your skin, any remaining pigment and the look you would like.

Brows that feel like you again.

From Zara

If you place pigment in someone’s skin, I believe you have a responsibility to be able to take it out again.

Responsible artistry means mastering both application and removal, which is why I trained in laser alongside permanent makeup. It means I can tell you honestly whether older work can be corrected or needs to come out first, and that when it does, the removal is planned around the brows that will follow.

We are the only clinic locally, and one of very few in the country, to offer both permanent makeup and its ethical removal under one roof, and every removal is tailored to where you would like to end up.

With care,

Preparing and healing

Before you come, and after you leave.

Laser works best on skin that is calm and protected, so these few steps make a real difference to how quickly you heal and how well the pigment clears.

  1. Two weeks before

No sun exposure or tanning on the area to be treated.

  2. A week before

No facials, chemical peels or other skin treatments nearby, and keep well hydrated.

  3. Two days before

No aspirin or fish oil for forty-eight hours.

  4. On the day

Come with clean skin and no makeup on the area. A medical form and a patch test come first, and please tell us about any eczema or other skin condition.

  1. The first two days

Keep away from heat, saunas, hot tubs and steam rooms, and keep the area clean without touching it.

  2. The first week

No sun on the area, the highest SPF you can find, and no makeup over it until it has fully healed, usually in five to seven days.

  3. Until it heals

Do not pick, scratch or peel the skin, however tempting, so it can heal evenly.

  4. Once healed

Massage the area gently a couple of times a day, and keep drinking plenty of water.

Questions

Laser, answered.

Is laser removal painful?

Most clients describe a mild heat with a soft clicking sound. We do not use numbing cream, because it can compromise the outcome, and each session is over in around thirty minutes.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people need between two and six, spaced six to eight weeks apart. It depends on the depth, age and colour of the pigment, how many times it was applied, and how your body responds, and we give you an honest estimate at your first visit.

Can you remove every colour?

Yes, though some colours, such as green, blue or white-based pigments, can take longer to fade or respond differently. We assess this carefully before and during your treatment.

Will the pigment come out completely?

Often, yes, particularly black and brown pigments. Some colours fade dramatically without disappearing entirely, and we will always be honest with you about what to expect.

Can I have new brows after removal?

Absolutely, and many clients choose removal precisely so they can begin again with a new shape or colour. New pigment can be added once the skin has fully healed, 12 to 16 weeks after your final session, and Zara can redesign your brows from scratch.

What is the Laser Brow Reset?

A complete journey for brows that have become dense, ashy or discoloured after previous permanent makeup. We gradually lighten the old pigment with laser, allow around fourteen weeks for your skin to settle, then design a new set of brows across two appointments, usually four weeks apart. Packages include three, four or five laser sessions and the new brows, from £695.

What if my brows are ready sooner, or need more sessions?

If your brows are ready for redesign before you have used all your included laser sessions, we will discuss a credit or refund for the unused sessions, each valued at £70 within the package. If further sessions are recommended, they can be booked at £85 each.

What is the downtime?

You may see some redness or mild swelling for a few days. Careful aftercare is what matters most, and we give you full written guidance after every session.

Is it safe for every skin type?

Yes. We tailor the method and the settings of our medical laser to your skin tone and type, and every treatment begins with a patch test.
